A larger project that has been supported right from the beginning by Herbert Ospelt, Vaduz, also known as ‘uncle Herbert’, and by his wife Blanca and that is also cared for by FRANCIS & FRIENDS Charitable Foundation as from its incorporation in the year 2015, is the construction and equipment of a health care center in Sabaoni, a municipality in Romania in the district of Neamt that counts about 10,000 inhabitants.
The health care centre is not only intended to serve the local community but also the surrounding catchment area that up to now did not have any basic medical care.
The construction of the health care center is meanwhile quite advanced. Presently, only the equipment is missing and further financial means are required, for which FRANCIS & FRIENDS Charitable Foundation are presently campaigning.
The inauguration of the health care center is planned for spring 2020, depending on the still incoming funds.
